Purpose
- How applicant and application data flows from Greenhouse into Radancy
- Supported integration behaviors and workflows
- Key assumptions and requirements specific to Greenhouse
| Steps | Owner | Timeline | Details |
| 1. Configure ATS security and permission settings | Customer | 2-5 days | Follow ATS specific instructions provided here |
| 2. Provide API and/or user credentials | Customer | 3-7 days | Send Radancy your credentials via your preferred method |
| 3. Create test candidates | Customer | 3-5 days | Radancy will provide you with instructions for creating new candidates in the ATS that can be used for testing purposes |
| 4. Authenticate credentials* | Radancy | 3-7 days | Radancy will authenticate credentials to ensure proper ATS access |
| 5. Sync sample applicant data* | Radancy | 5-10 days | Radancy will pull a small sample data set from ATS to confirm ingestion of the necessary datapoints |
| 6. Import applicant data to CRM Works environment | Radancy | 15-20+ days | The sample data set will be imported into the customers CRM Works environment |
*Radancy leverages the Merge integration middleware platform to streamline and simplify the
implementation process. Merge is a Radancy approved data sub-processor meeting all necessary
security requirements including SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
Notes:
- Additional steps and days may be necessary for certain data objects or custom
configurations - Sync timeline is dependent on volume of data and API call limits per ATS
Troubleshooting & Support
If issues occur during authentication or syncing, Radancy will notify you within 1–2 business days.
The most common issues are:
- Permissions – The integration user may not have the required read access to applicant
data. Please ensure API scopes or user role permissions are correctly set. - Credentials – Expired or invalid credentials may need to be regenerated and securely reshared.
- Sync errors – If data fails to sync through Merge, Radancy will handle first-level diagnostics
and advise on any required ATS changes.
Radancy will work with your team to resolve issues quickly, and if needed, schedule a joint review
session with your ATS administrator.
Greenhouse Integration Setup
To authenticate Greenhouse, you will need to provide the following information:
- API Key
This guide will walk you through finding or creating those credentials within Greenhouse.
Instructions
Step 1: Get your API Key from Greenhouse
- Log in and click the Configure (Settings) Icon on the upper right-hand corner of any page
2. Click Dev Center in the left menu
3. Select API Credential Management
4. Click the Create New API Key button
5. Select Harvest for the API Type, "Custom" under Partner, and enter a description for the API
key. Then click Manage Permissions:
6. Click the Copy button, and paste the API key below. Next, click "I have stored the API key"
Note that you will not be able to copy this API Key again, so please store it somewhere
safe!
7. Select your permissions:
- Click Select All or select the relevant permissions required for your use case
- See below all of the permissions necessary for all data as part of this integration
A reference of the full permissions list is available in Appendix A (Figures 1–4).
Step 2: Provide your API key to Radancy
Once you have generated your Harvest API Key and selected the required permissions, provide the API Key to your Radancy representative. Our team of Integration Specialists will use this information to confirm connectivity to your data and begin the integration testing process.
